locks up everytime, unable to get past this. if i do (which happened like twice), it gets stuck at "loading security module". ive reinstalled steam and deleted the clientregistry.blob and i am out of ideas. any help is much appreciated

im not sure if any of it has to do with my new router which is plug and play? no tweaking required. ive reconfigured my settings and what not and i cant seem to get much activity. i even tried using Won2 for CS 1.5 and i cant even get the server list. if it helps, on the server list for steam, i cant look up server info if i right click and click get info. it just simply says "server not responding." ill try renewing my ip's lol not that it will help. thanks in advance.

Posts: 504 Central New York, USA Gender:	Re: Steam lock up @ verifying and d/l'ing resource Reply #1 - Jul 8^th, 2006 at 9:48pm ok i found on steampowered (not even in my subject) that there are problems with my router wiht the firmware before a certain version. i have the LinkSys BEFSR41 v.2 and i have no idea what firmware is preloaded, so i am downloading the latest release in hopes that will fix the problem.

all info was lost due to a hacking arse Angry

Colin and I spent today trying to retrieve the files thankfully, our host backed up files , we very nearly lost everything, we lost only 2 days posts soz legacy:)

good job Colin well saved thanks for taking time off work and Scott for the cover.
