After giving it some thought, I decided to post something here, because I feel I have been gravely offended and then kick banned to boot!

I was on the server today ahving fun, having a little side conversation, you know how it is, when I try to mention to someone that I'm half jewish.

The word JEWISH is regiserted on your server as a swear.

Now I understand what you're trying to avoid (at least I assume) is people making racial slurs, as in JEWISH KIKE or whatever.

But when I tried to explain to the admin that I am in fact Jewish and maybe the word JEW should be registeered as a swear but not JEWISH or Nazi, after all, nazis existed, thats where the trouble began.

Your admin used racial slurs, ridiculed my point and then kick banned me.

Now your admin is going to come on possibly and say that i called him a moron.  I did, and I shouldn;t have.  But it was only after several attempts to disucss the issue rationally and several slurs hurled at me.

My initial thought was to simply call a jewish advocacy group and let them deal with your server.  

But then I realized thats like going stright to nuclear and decided to plead my case hear.  I don't even really care whether or not Im banned.  That doesnt really matter.  But I strongly feel that you should consider removing the word JEWISH and possibly Nazi from your swear list.  after all, Nazis existed and to try and ban any word that might possibly be used in conjuction with an insult is futile.

atomiceo... thank you for your thoughts... and presenting your case in a mature and articulated manner.

I think Mar said all that needed to be said.  All FC servers are privately run and can therefore be run as we see fit.  Although many people don’t agree 100% with the way we police our servers, I can assure you between the 40+ admins we easily have over 100+ years of admin experience at our disposal.

Our Code of Conduct is in place to create a friendly environment for all ages to play on… yes that does sometimes mean going a bit overboard with rules to make sure people don’t abuse/insult other players.


I hope you find it in your heart to understand we only do this with the best of intentions.  I am going to lock this thread now to prevent further escalation of tempers and hope that if you would like to continue to play on our servers to contact mar@fraggerscentral.com , dmoore@fraggerscentral.com or myself slippy@fraggerscentral.com and we can work out getting you’re Steam_ID reinstated on the servers.  After all you do sound like an understanding person.
